Letting

If you are considering letting out your property please remember that you will be held personally responsible for any damage or inconvenience to other residents including noise and rowdy behavior from tenants.  Please carry out full due-diligence on your tenants. The buildings insurance excess for leaks is currently £1,000 per claim.

We advise against letting to students because of noise disturbance issues we’ve had in the past but also DSS tenants and also short term and/or holiday lets.

When choosing a lettings or managing agent there are a couple of companies that have been recommended by a number of High Quay owners. These include Mansons in Gosforth and Sanderson Young.

All letting agents must provide you with contact details of all tenants and also provide an out of hours emergency number for their company.

Lettings Boards
When instructing an agent please ensure that they are aware of the following information:

Lettings boards can only be placed in the designated area in the landscaping outside Block L. Boards are not to be put directly outside the apartment blocks. Any that are put in the wrong place will be removed.
